Bush Goddess Desert dukkah:
We have to lay it on the dukkah... It has been the major reason as to why the Bush Goddesses have 'gone public' and this product's fame and flavour is becoming even more widespread. Canberra restaurants now serving the Bush Goddess Desert dukkah include:
- The Boathouse by the Lake
- Podfood at Pialligo
- Axis - National Museum of Australia
- Wild Porcini - Nichols
Some of the Uses for Dukkah:
- The classic way of consuming it - dip a piece of GOOD Turkish or olive sourdough bread in the Bush Goddess extra virgin olive oil then into the Desert dukkah....
- Coat fish or chicken in the dukkah prior to gently sautéing it in extra virgin olive oil;
- Toast a piece of olive sourdough, rub a cut clove of garlic into it, smear good feta cheese over that and sprinkle the dukkah on top..sensational and a brilliant entrée;
- We do know of someone who sprinkles it on their Ice-cream...sigh..
